Wingo to Travis Carter, Bud Moore Denying shutting down

Donnie Wingo has left Bud Moore’s Winston Cup team to become crew chief for Jimmy Spencer’s team owned by Travis Carter. Wingo, a 15-year veteran on the circuit, takes over the duties vacated by Cecil Gordon, who has been named the team’s shop foreman.

Team owner Bud Moore is still denying rumors that his team is shutting down. Moore is still without a sponsor for the 1996 season.
